2010

Harry Rymer	Frank Albert and Willie Mae Hidgon Rymer's youngest son, Harry lives on the old family farm in Polk County, TN and farms, raising up to 120,000 chickens at a time for broilers. As a result he has an excees of chicken litter. On March 8th, 2010 he was starting to spread chicken litter on a yard in the neighborhood, backing into a corner when a wheel on the spreader collapsed an underground propane tank, which exploded burning Harry and destroying his equipment. Harry spent several weeks in the burn unit at a hospital in Nashville. Fortunately, the long term effects of the accident on Harry are modest and he is able to perform much, if not all, of his previous tasks (Sept. 2010).
Susan Rymer Goldblatt	Susan was Frank Albert Rymer's oldest granddaughter and Albert's daughter. She was killed in an automobile accident on July 26,2010 when a truck crossed the center line and hit her. At the time of the accident they were on their way home from a family outing with her sister Jenny's family (who was visiting from Mexico) at Fall Creek Falls state park. Jenny's husband was driving a second car and was also involved in the accident, Jenny's daughter suffered a broken leg. Susan was married to Sheldon Goldblatt for 19 years, they had two children; Taylor 16 and Ethan 13. Susan was competent, sweet, beautiful and loved by all who knew her. She was a regional planner for the Southeast Tennessee Development District and served on a number of major government and non-profit boards in the area. An example of how loved Susan was the number of people attending her service. In the main room which seated some 200 there were over 100 people standing, the overflow room was packed room with people standing around the walls. The total number of people was at least 500.
Onie Rymer Miller	On August 3rd, 2010, Onie suffered a stroke while at her daughter Nancy Sue Miller Powell's house. Fortunately, this was only a few blocks from Piedmont Hospital (One of the better hospitals in the South). After a few days in the hospital she was moved to a rehab across the street from the hospital. At this time she (August 23, 2010) she seems to be recovering well. The long term effects will not be known for some time.

2011

Lauren Dougherty Bacon	Lauren Dougherty, Mary's granddaughter, Joe and Lisa Doughtery daughter married Les Bacon on April 16 2011.
Nancy Reed Morris	Nancy Reed Morris, Sue's granddaughter had a daughter (Megan) on December 28, 2011.

2012

Lauren Dougherty Bacon	Mary' Granddaughter, (Joe and Lisa's duaghter) Lauren and and her husband Les had their first child, a boy (Coy) in August 2012
Marianna Doughtery	Mary' Granddaughter, (Paul and Mariellen's daughter) Marianne married Killian ??? on June ?? 2012 in Paris. Killian's father is Irish and his mother is French living in Paris. The newlyweds both work and live in London (UK). A number of the Rymer relatives attended
Onie Rymer Miller	In August 2012, Onie who was 91 and suffering from dermentia, moved to a home for the elderly in Atlanta near where her daughter (Nancy Sue Powell) lives
Valerie Ann Rymer	On September 15th, 2012, Valerie (Todd's daughter - John and Beverly's granddaughter) married Chris Toth in Denver, Colorado. Where Todd and his wife Micki live. Valerie and Chris are living in a suburb of Denver.

2014

Onie Rymer Miller	Onie died in Atlanta on May 15th 2014. Services will be held at a time and place to be announced later. She will be missed by all who knew her
Lauren Dougherty Bacon	Lauren Dougherty, Mary's granddaughter, Joe and Lisa Doughtery daughter who married Les Bacon on April 16 2011 had their second child (Jack William Bacon)_on May 21,2014. He weighted 8 lbs and 8 ounces. (May 21st is also John E. Rymers birthday)
Jessica Rymer	Jessica Rymer, Beverly and John's granddaughter and Todd and Micki's daughter married Jeremy Steinhart in Key West, FL on June 14, 2014.

2015

Mary Ellen Dougherty	On January 23rd, 2015 Mary Ellen (Paul's Wife) died suddenly
Bennett Coleman Toth	Was born on March 8th, 2015. his parents are Valerie Rymer Toth and Chris Toth Grandparents are Todd and Micki RymerGreat-grandparents are Beverly and John Rymer
Beverly Ann Staples Rymer	Beverly (John's wife) died at home on August 9th, 2015. In 2013 she found she had some Melanoma cells which were not completely removed by surgery. On Mothers day in May of 2015 she cooked dinner for her family and remained her usual cheerful self until the end without one word of complaint. She is sorely missed by her family.
Eleanor Merritt O'Hagen	Mary Rymer Dougherty's granddaughter and Paul Dougherty's daughter (Marianna O'Hagen) is married and lives in London. Paul visited her in November 2015 and while he was there she had her first child (Eleanor) a daughter and Paul's first grandchild.

2016

Andrew McCamy Brady

Andrew is the son of Ann Rymer and Joe Brady and the grandson of Beverly Staples and John Rymer. On February 8, 2016 - Andrew who would be 22, two days later joined the U S Army and was sent to Fortr Sill, OK for basic training. He is scheduled to go to Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX after basic to train for a career in the Health Care Field.
